Posted by Cap in Totally Crap |- Novelty for you or gag gift for a friend.

How fast would that crap get old?
October 7th, 2006 at 4:42 am
Just think of all the time and materials that went into that thing that could have been spent on something productive.

I vote crap. Where do I vote?
October 7th, 2006 at 2:03 pm
No need to vote, it’s understood crap.

I would rather have something classy, like a singing fish.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know what the point of the actual VHS cassette rewinders? My parents insist on using one, despite my protests. As far as I can tell, they do nothing to prolong the life of either the VCR or the tape.

I’d heard that people bought them to save “wear and tear” on the more expensive VCR. Back 20-25 years ago when VCR’s cost maybe $500.00 it might have made some sense, maybe.

Jeez. Totally stole my idea!

Uuuuuuugh. Worst. crap. ever.
That’s such garbage, it makes me angry.

I think it’s brilliant. I’m going to get one for my vinyl records.

the most ridiculous device I have heard about, why does a DVD need to be rewound??????????
June 25th, 2007 at 10:48 am
Now if it had a dual purpose, like CLEANING the dvds, I would get one!

What a great idea. I waste so much time rewinding my DVDs. I can save so much money now by returning my DVDs to blockbuster already rewound.

This sheer genious…I must have one….Hours of laughing while drunk….
May 27th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
Does it work for Blu-Ray?
May 27th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
I would think so… dual functionality like this might end up going for more $$
May 28th, 2009 at 9:21 am
Blu-Ray requires the $65 model. There’s those defunct HD-DVD rewinders at the dollar bins though.
June 1st, 2009 at 12:48 pm
Thanks for the info but I think I should wait for the Blu-ray standard to be finalized, side note long does it take to rewind a Blu-ray vs DVD?
February 28th, 2010 at 10:08 pm
I love it, I’m thinking of buying another 1 so I can rewind my DVD’s twice as fast.
