how to be poor: yeah I totally know what u&#039;re talking about.  that seems to be only the case for big items though.. they don&#039;t bother to slap the box in another box.  but for their smaller items, they&#039;re usually decently packaged.

I&#039;m thinking sometimes the monitors are shipped directly from manufacture&#039;s warehouse.</description>

Newegg should work on their damn packaging.  It&#039;s a solid company and I love it, don&#039;t get me wrong, but to ship a brand new 19&quot; LCD ViewSonic from Cali to Michigan in a torn-up factory box with no additional padding is disrespectful to me, the consumer.  A UPS man shows up and THROWS me this slim square box with ViewSonic logos on it.  Come on, would it kill Newegg to put it inside a slightly larger box with some crumpled up paper?</description>
