Chase’s New Site
Posted by Cap in Credit Related on July 28, 2005 |
Chase finally revamped their online account website for their credit card users. One of the best change is the merging of FirstUSA and Bank One database. If you have a credit card from Bank One or FirstUSA, you can now view them all on one single site! Life just got a bit easier. Even better, it was all done automatically. I logged into my Chase account today to find that my Chase MasterCard and BankOne VISA are both showing up. Past payment history, statement, etc. are all there.
Cleaner interfance that’s easier read and navigate. Good job Chase. Now please increase my credit limit…

No fair! I get an error message when I log in. “Information Temporarily Unavailable
We are upgrading several services this week and you may not have complete access to your account information.
Please be assured that any scheduled payments will take place without interruption.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you for your patience.”
This is because my last name is at the end of the alphabet isn’t it. Man, always had less time to eat because I was second to last, or last in the lunch line. So I learned how to brown bag it early. Sorry for the rant. I can’t wait to see if it’s as nice as you say it is. Let’s get on the ball Chase.

While it was cool they upgraded, did they really have to take down the whole site for an entire week? I’ve seen much smotther transitions. But at least it works now!

I’m not sure. I’ve seen transition that happens within hours.
I think its probably because they merged both database…
I had to change my username on my bankone online account, because it was the same username of my chase online account.
