As for having your ordained cat apply for a credit card…you’re on your own!

But -THEORETICALLY- what would you put down as the S.S. number? Yours? If they did call you about it, then you could say your cat/dog was attempting identity theft? ;)

I wonder if it TECHNICALLY would be illegal to make your dog or cat a Rev/Dr (actually both!) on their credit card application? It’d be interesting to see what kind of mail THEY would get.

If someone called you on it I guess you could say you did it, as a “journalist” to expose cracks in the credit card industries security checks!

I was a Rev through the Universal Life Church too! :) I never thought of putting it on a application too…hmmm, where’s that pre-approved credit form.

Thanks to the Universal Life Church, I put Rev in front of my name for about a month.

Then the requests for money from various groups starting piling up in my mailbox.

My girlfriend at the time was especially miffed by the numerous pleas from the ‘St. Anne’s School for Unwed Mothers’ ;)

That’s great! I knew a girl in college who would put Dr. in front of her name just for kicks when she filled out forms online, it’s amazing how much junk mail that she got which went to Dr. Moeller…heh.
