Once you know how to use them, credit cards become a cash cow! I've got two maxed out with 0% loans, where the money is earning me over 5.35% and 5.45%. I'm making $200 a month in interest for the 10 minutes or so it takes me to pay both of those bills. When those 0% offers are about to expire, I'll do a balance transfer on them if I can, or pay them off and keep the earnings!

That doesn't even count the rewards I get for the credit card I use for every day purchases, which is promptly paid off every month.

I agree, for most credit cards can be a problem. But for those who are detail oriented, disciplined and have an emergency fund, they rock!

Let's face it some people are just not meant to have cc's.

Some are. To each it's own.

I do not have a credit card. I use cash or debit. It just works better for me. Yeah it can be an inconvenience some times but in the long run it's a convenience. No bills in the mail.

How does anyone make it in today's world without a credit card? I buy almost everything online... Clothes, Christmas gifts, computer gear, books, music, etc. Just grow up and pay your bills off every month like an adult.
