I want to share what outstanding customer service I always have at my Traders IN rancho ca 91737 all the employees are wonderful and helpful one really stands out time and time again his name is Israel he is always helpful and does great Demos and great on cheekstand I always go to his line I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 20 YEARS SO GLAD YOU OPEND a store in Alta Loma

I lost a molar(!) after biting into something in a Trader Joe’s Chicen Sausage I had bought the same day. I cracked the tooth and had to have it removed as I didn’t have 3500 for an implant.
Both Trader Joes and the Villa Roma Sausage company denied my claim as I couldn’t produce what broke the tooth. The whole process was painful and humiliating.
I now am employed and am going through the lengthy, painful and expensive process of having an implant installed.
I haven’t shopped at a Trader Joe’s since (Dec 2009) and encourage everyone and anyone I know not to patronize them.

Trader Joe’s needs to open a store in Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of NYC (Westside area from 38-49 Sts). We are in great need of a supermarket with the great expansion here. Please! Consider opening a store in Hell’s Kitchen–thanks. john v amodeo

Please bring Trader Joe’s to the Charleston SC/ Mt. Pleasant SC area and soon. I lived in McLean VA for 33 years and while you were there at the end time of my stay there…you are SUPBERB! I love Trader Joe’s and Charleston awaits you with a very savvy collection of people to become your clientel and walk away from Whole Foods! Please, please come to Charleston…we are very friendly and healthy and charming in a wonderful Southern manner of welcoming you!

My wife posted a link to this story on her blog and added her own Trader Joes is awesome story. We pass by several other grocery stores on our way to our local Trader Joes twice a month. On many items, their prices are really good. They buy direct-- no middle man means reasonable prices in most cases.

The folks at Trader Joes near us are always really nice and right next to a Costco, which also has good customer service but more of the corporate sense. Trader Joes always seems more “down home” and “personal,” which I’m willing to pay a little bit more for.

As for the prices, it’s only a lot higher on meat. Everything else the prices are fairly competitive (at least around here). And in the case of unbleached coffee filters, they have the best price by far.

That’s my Trader Joe’s (Wayne) – I can so totally believe they would do this sort of thing. I wish there were more of these stores around.

And yes, you are wrong about the prices. For instance, my son likes their cereal bars – they are better than the NutriGrain brand, no chemicals, and cost $1.25 a box. NGs cost $3.50.

In essence, you Aren’t paying for chemicals and advertisements.

What Trader Joe’s has done is one way of saying thank you to their customers. Its beyond their customer service. Satisfied customers will always come back. Hope more companies will also have the same initiative of saying thanks to their customers. customers are the lifeblood of your business.
