nah nothing yet. it has been delivered but I doubt they’ll respond. I didn’t really ask for one though so I don’t expect one. I guess its silly trying to make a point w/o making sure the point got across…

I think rates will most likely stay at 4.80% at HSBC, but there’s no guaranteed. The feds will raise rates soon again near summer, so HSBC may keep their current rate. I just transferred some new money to HSBC instead of ING, since their promo rate will last longer, and HSBC has a better track record of keeping up with market rates than ING Direct.

I only wish HSBC’s transfer rates are faster.. the transaction speed is the only drawback (IMO) in HSBC Direct.

Any word yet?

With all the trouble you’ve been having I think I will go with HSBC for now. Once April hits, do you think the APY will drop below VirtualBank’s current 4.60% (per MyMoneyBlog)?
