mINT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Tried it, and it was ok for basics, but useless for most uses.

QAD: Sorry for the late reply, but I'm not sure if Quicken 2009 Deluxe allows you to track investment. From the Quicken comparison page, it seems Premier is the one that will have that functionality, BUT... past Quicken versions I've seen have investment tracking functions, just not specific analysis and performance/comparison tracking. Premier also gives you the ability to generate schedule A, B, and D tax reports.

Personally, I'll try Quicken customer service to get the final say, just remember they'll obviously try to upsell you to the more expensive product.

If anything, grab Deluxe and pay for the upgrade to Premier if you find you need the additional functions (I believe this will cost less than buying an entire new Quicken, if you upgrade within a year).

Does Quicken Deluxe allow you to input investment information and track investments or do you need Quicken Premier?

If so, what then is the added benefit of Premier?

Thanks!

Mint is definitely a good choice too for those wanting a simple online solution. Especially versus the $2.99 per month Quicken Online, which has similar features.

Course I'm a bit biased since Mint employed my bummy ass for awhile. Will have a full review for Mint in the near future too.
