Black Friday is Wack
Posted by Cap in Miscellaneous |I honestly never liked Black Friday.
Back in high school you’ll have a bunch of female friends calling you up for rides to the mall, only to buy things they don’t need (or can afford). It seems like a really bad excuse to spend money. The season to spend is coming up, and sometimes it really drives me nut how people go wild with buying crap (just so they can give it away to people that don’t use/need them).
That aside, there will be many great deals out there, but I think we all know that buying something on sale, isn’t really saving money unless you were planning to buy it in the first place.

I work in the warehouse at Circuit City, for which we are open 6AM to 10PM on Black Friday, November 25th. I’ll be fortunate enough to work 5AM to Midnight that day, and as it’s my first time working a “Black Friday”, I have been told there will be about 700 customers within the first hour of opening the doors. Crazy? I’m not sure that’s the right word!

oh my. 5 AM.
btw what’s on sale. did the employees got dibs on many of the hot items already? heh.
I always read about fatwallet price deals at circuit city, and whenever people head to the stores, the employees grabbed the super low clearance price items already.
good luck!

Black Friday Everyday! My mom is the best ast buying things nobody wants for the sole reason that it was “on sale!”
All my life she would come home from Stop and Shop with cookies or crappy chips that the family won’t eat because they taste like pure lard.
Me: Mom, why did you get these kind of cookies? You know no one likes coconut here, and Dad’s allergic to peanuts.
Mom: Oh, they were on sale for 99 cents!
2 weeks later…
Mom: I guess I’ll give these to good will since no one is opening them.
Me: I don’t even think I’d eat them if I were starving…but good job on saving the family money!
