Wasting meat should be a crime
Posted by Cap in Miscellaneous |So here’s another major foobar story.
I was out of town this weekend visiting a good buddy of mine. Before heading home they asked me to bring back about three pounds worth of, what looks like USDA choice loin cut beef, to their parents back down in Orange County.
After the long drive home, I got in the house and immediately went to sleep.
You’ll notice that I made no mention of taking the meat out the car to put it in the freezer.
Needless to say, I feel terrible about it and insisted on buying some replacement meat, but alas they won’t let me. Oh well. Terribly sorry, LT.

If you lived in, say, Maine… it wouldn’t have been a problem since it’s probably colder outside than it would be in your fridge. :)

What? Did it go bad or something? What you can’t see can’t hurt you…right?

Heh. I initially mis-read the title as “Washing Meat Should be a Crime” and I though to myself, “Why? What’s wrong with clean meat?”
