		<description>Anthony: Yeah, the surprising thing to a lot of people is that a good portion of the US population generally end up paying little to no taxes come tax day (I think the number was like 47%).  They either make too little, or have enough deduction, credits, exemptions that they pay no income tax.</description>

You can get $5k+ back in tax credits!!! Amazing! Looking at the $48+ married, filing jointly, your tax obligation is $6406. You get $5657 back. You&#039;re only paying $749 in taxes. The effective tax rate is about 1.6% in this case.

... Granted, you would have 3 kids and a combined income of $48k. I&#039;ll admit that I couldn&#039;t survive in that situation, but there are many others more frugal than I.</description>
