I agree completely. The reason I read personal finance sites is because I hate financial stuff and dealing with money and am hoping to learn simple ways to not have to spend too much time or brain power on my finances.

Plus for the average investor, more knowledge actually can be detrimental because it can generate an urge to tinker with a simple but adequate portfolio. I’m a big fan of keeping-it-simple-stupid.
