What’s in Your Wallet? (Showcase or Tell What’s in Your Wallet!)
Posted by Cap in Personal Finance |Fine.
I’ll show you mine, then you show me yours.
Deal?

Nothing special. An old black DKNY bookfold wallet.

First flap reveals my Driver License and Eagle Scout card on the right. heh. On the left you’ll see my Blue from American Express card, my Bank of America VISA card, and my Bank of America debit/check card.

The second flap reveals my trusty Library Card, which has taken quite a beating through the years, and my AAA card. The tucked away red & blue card are the Ralphs and Albertsons grocery card, respectively.

Opening the last flap reveals how filthy rich I am. One $5 bill, and five $1 bills. You’ll also see my rarely used Fatburger card and the stupid $3 coupon I got for complaining about my TV dinner.
And that’s my wallet.

Too funny. I’ll list what’s in mine on my blog, but was struck by some of the similarities with yours (well, I was an Eagle but don’t have the card *lol*)

Very interesting… and your wallet is so neat and tidy.
In the post below, I wrote about how much cash was in my wallet but now you have set a new standard with photos!

I don’t have photos of my wallet or photos in my wallet! Nor was I an Eagle Scout. But I do have a AAA card.

its only neat and tidy in the picture. the wallet use to be fat with receipts.
oh yeah being an eagle scout has so much perks, the chicks dig it. haha. not.
I keep it around because its one of few things I did that I feel are actual accomplishments.
and um, I just realized.. some that I forgot to mention are the auto insurance card, movie card, student ID, and business card of my barber. heh

How is it that a guy running “StopBuyingCrap” has a Visa Check Card? That thing is the biggest piece of crap out there.
February 10th, 2006 at 1:16 pm

My wallet’s contents are posted.
February 12th, 2006 at 5:36 pm
Great idea for a post. This should have been something I had posted on long time ago on my wallet blog.
Here’s my post. One of my controversial contents is a spare car key. Could be risky if lost, but useful if keys get locked in.

Here is my post.
February 14th, 2006 at 8:13 pm
so many different wallets, with so many different contents! I even updated with the brand of the wallet I have.
BTW people, I cheated. I cleaned out my wallet a few days before I took those pictures.

I can still read what it says on the certain cards mostly… but it might take me a little bit to re-check the numbers accurately plus the information probably would come of no use to me since people can be easily tracked when trying to succeed in credit card theft etc in most cases. lol

I’ve just put all my cards in my wallet the same way. I can’t believe how many receipts and stuff I had in there.
