Hate to admit it but we got sucked into buying th e”Garden claw”too.Used it once on our 30′x60′garden,and decided it might have been ok on a 3′x6′garden.Bought a small rototiller and lived happily ever after.

The biggest problem with all this crap that we buy is at the time we buy it we really think that we have to have it. I heard one time from a very wealthy person that there is a reason why we buy this stuff. He said to me that it’s called status. Status is when we buy things that we can’t afford with money that we don’t have to impress someone we don’t like. It made a lot of sense to me and I think It’s probably very true. We all work very hard to make a living and it seems to me that it gets harder and harder to make ends meet in todays world. I think if we all would stop step back and say to ourselves before we by that item that we think we need. Think about it, why am I buying this thing? What is the purpose? Do I really need it ? Am I going to use it enough to warrent spending all this money? Can I get along without it? Is It just a fad item or is it really usefull? These are all questions that we need to ask ourselves before making a purchase. Thanks

That’s funny, my roomie is like that about paid ads as well. I try to keep the phone near me at ALL times to save her the guilt later

Good Housekeeping occasionally does reviews of infomercial products. There are a few – A FEW – that are really good.

My mom loves her George Foreman grill, but it’s the huge round one they don’t make anymore.

“Craptacular.” That’s the perfect way to describe the Shark!

After letting mine sit in the closet for six months or so, I deemed it a POS after two uses. But it seems brick-and-mortar stores are Shark-infested as well: mine was a gift bought from Target.
