Drivers in Rome are the craziest. If you are a pedestrian trying to cross the street, you had better mingle with a pack of nuns, because that's the only thing those crazy Italians will stop for. To make your way around LA you have to be a very aggressive driver. Also, people in LA do not know how to drive in the rain. Thus those of us who realize that 75 mph is not a safe speed on wet surface streets get honked at, sworn at, and zipped around in the most dangerous maneuvers I have ever seen. (Usually by someone in an SUV who is on their cell phone, which gives ME road rage.) When in Rome, huh? Drivers in Rome are the craziest. I moved down south from the Oakland Bay Area and noticed the difference immediately. Drivers tended to fight for every inch of progress and not budge for anything.
