I just called the store about my credit you cant use it anymore. I had untill feb 1st 09 to use it. What do I do with the card now. Can I get a chase bank card without circuit cities name on it with the same credit amount I had before????

I have about $50 balance on my gift card. I drove about an hour to the store but their POS showed my card had zero balance. I called 1-888-696-4880 and confirmed I did have that $50 on my card. The store cannot honor it even though they called the giftcard center to confirm the dollar amount. The gife card cener gave me another 1-800 number but the voicemail saying they are close (I call them on Monday in the day time). Both the store and the gift card center told me I need to reach the Circuitcity corporate office but nobody knows the number. I wonder who might know the nubmer for their corporate office?

frimm: Also – you might be able to call the store nearest you and shop over the phone, if your card has a bar code or some other identifier, and arrange for delivery if you’re within the delivery area but it’s just further than you want to go.

I hope the amount you have on the gift card is a small amount. If its a large enough amount, you may want to consider selling it on eBay or Craigslist.. although time is running out and I’m unsure of how much they carry in value on the online marketplace right now.

I’m so screwed… have a giftcard and live too far away…too bad I can’t sell it to someone who lives in a town that has a circuitcity. The only way to use it is to go to the store..period.

We used our CC gift card about 2 weeks ago in anticipation of them going BK. The writing was on the wall, it was only a matter of time. We used the card as quickly as possible.
