jonathan: I honestly cant tell if you’re serious or not, cuz the FDA’s a joke. I seem to remember reading that too, or maybe its a common joke.. see now if it was rat fece, I wouldn’t even know and probably would have ate it. glad it’s hair :)

dawn: yeah some people would feel disgusted and just stop eating right there, I say, who cares :)

pfadvice: yeah I really want to see their reaction.. in fact, I’ll probably get better results if I like mail a photo to kirkland/costco or whoever.

in either case, those were some good cookies.

Good thing you didn’t think quick on your feet and take the photo (stomachs often do this) – that would have meant another tub of cookies that wouldn’t have been good for the diet. Then again, the story of how Cosco reacted and handled the situation would have been great for the blog…

I probably would’ve complained loudly to the dog and skipped the cookie but eaten the others.

Never think too hard about what you’re eating if it’s processed at all. The FDA clearly states that a certain percentage of rat feces is perfectly acceptable (legal-wise at least).

I would have eaten around the hair too. ;)
