That was funny- I usually burn popcorn on a regular basis, easily distracted

ah yeah. seriously.. haha… just need to pay attention for 2-3 minutes, but somehow I always run off to do something else.
it really bites cuz I was craving for popcorn big time.. but before I even started I’m down to 3 bags already. the pictures dont show but they’re really scorched!

It doesn’t take much more time to make real popcorn in a pan with oil, and it tastes so much better (and it is probably better for you since I still don’t know what all that crap is they put on microwave popcorn). It’s also much cheaper.

hmm really? I always thought those things take forever, so I never tried ‘em, or if they were cheaper or not.
I’ll give ‘em a try!

lol…just be sure not to waste the other 3 packs!

well 2 bags left, cuz I had to pop another one after I toasted that one. heh.
ah well, I should really moderate myself on these things, it’s been awhile but boy I should just buy regular butter, not extra.

You gotta use the scientific method, man! Use the same popcorn and test and record results on the fridge. ;)
I always buy the Kettle Corn by Orville RedenBacker. 2 minute and 23 seconds, and it’s juuuuust right.

u know, the microwave’s popcorn setting actually works pretty well. but I always forget to use it. ah well.
but that’s a good idea, time it, buy same brand, and let it rip.
I’m looking at this picture again after almost a month, and it looks fine here. hmm. shoulda took a close up. heh.

The secret to cooking popcorn is listening. If there is a gap of ‘one onethousand two onethousand’ between pops, it’s done with few kernels and no burnt corn.
Anyhow, you still have 29 cent bags of popcorn, and that’s cheap in and of itself.
