Woops, I Pre-Ordered Crap
Posted by Cap in Woops, Bought Crap |Aw geez. So I not only bought something I can live without, I pre-ordered it.
Remember how I had to call Best Buy to cancel my pre-order? It was because I want to get it faster; so I went straight to the store and picked a pre-order copy of Guild Wars: Factions.
Anyway the purple chick on the cover told me to buy it. It’s not my fault.
Wasted money? $53.82
On a flip note, if you and your buddies were really good at the game, you’ll get a free trip to Taiwan and have a shot at $50,000. The game world’s crazy these day, I tell ya.

I’ll be popping for Elder Scrolls Oblivion the day it hits stores.
I save so much money on drinking and going out when I have computer games. The purple chick has your best interest at heart.

oh geez seriously, I almost picked up the pre-order for Elder Scroll IV at Best Buy too. It’s like RPG orgy month.

File this expense under entertainment.

HA! My friend had been begging me to pick up World of Warcraft and play with her. At $50 for the game (thereabouts) and $15/month for realm access I thought I’d maybe *start* thinking about taking the plunge in April. Then she sent me the game as a gift…LOL (“first one is free!”) So I am spared a “bought crap” moment…until that first month of free play expires and I’m hooked for good…

looks like there’s more RPG fans around than I realized!
yeah I didn’t get WoW because of the monthly fee, and the fact that I’ll never leave my room…

Have to admit, GuildWars Factions will probably be filed under my entertainment expenses as well pretty quick. I can’t even imagine how many hours the first release has gotten from me.
